Let’s get straight to the point: I love beer.
I’m a fan of all alcohol, but brews are my jam. Craft beer is flavorful, creative, accessible, affordable. It can be sipped alone, savored with food and revered at events both casual and elegant.
And here in South Carolina, like much of the US, it’s booming. Early in 2013, I was surprised to learn that breweries existed in my seems-too-backward-for-beer state. I’ve been drinking my way through southern beers—and beyond—since then.
Overwhelmed by photos, links and cries to come drink with me, my Facebook friends have been kindly urging me to get a blog. Craft Beer Chick was born as a place to chronicle my brew-ventures.
